RetroArts is now on itch.io!
From today I’m switching the download section to the famous itch.io indie game hosting platform.
This allows me to reach more people and supporters and have a central platform for updates.
EVIL DUNGEON is still for free, but you now have the option to name a price if you are willing to support me.

EVIL DUNGEON (WiC64-Version) released!
As of today you can also find my adventure game “Evil Dungeon” (English version) free to play in the WiC64 portal!
You find it in the “Online Games\Highscore Games II” section.
What’s different in the WiC64 version?
- The game loads very fast!
Game data will partially loaded from my webserver and benefits from the technology of the WiC64 device. It’s a great experience! - Online Highscore!
If you master the dungeon, your experience points will be stored 1:1 as score in the online highscore list. There is a own highscore list for Evil Dungeon and it also counts against the “All games” highscore. - The gameplay and main content remains the same as in the offline version 1.1 – no changes here!
What is a WiC64?

The device offers a variety of features: Online portal, chat, demos, games, apps, online multiplayer games, SID-Radio and much more…

What or Who is RetroArts?
Hey people!
My name is Gregor, born 1980, living in Germany and since 2022 I’m developing games for our beloved Commodore 64.
Is RetroArts a company or a trademark?
RetroArts is just an overall name for my C64 projects and business. I’m acting as a sole proprietor.
Why coding games for a machine that is older than 40 years?
Grewing up with this machine and still having fun with it is something I’m sharing with a whole commnuity out there. Still seeing a lasting demand on content for games I decided to make my own one.
Why coding in BASIC V2 and not Assembler?
To be honest – I never learned Assembler nor am I a professional developer. But I think with a little creativity and the right concepts it’s possible to create fun games in BASIC too. And finally, I like BASIC, because it’s simple and READY_ to go!
Is there more to come?
Yes, as long as my spare time allows I’m trying to make new games. But please be patient and there will be no fixed dates preannounced.

Welcome to RetroArts!
My name is Gregor Schillinger, born in 1980 and since the age of nine I’m an owner of a C64.
In summer 2022 I had the idea for creating a game for my lovely “Breadbin”. The project made me a lot of fun through the last months. Therefore I decided to continue develop for the C64 and I already have some more follow-up ideas. For this reason I decided to put this all together and publish under the name “RetroArts”.
My first game “Evil Dungeon” will be released early 2023.
I hope people have fun with my games and I’m looking forward to get some feedback from you!
