Let me explain. I really like my game and there are no plans to release further versions in the future!
But there were some little things I like to see fixed/changed, for a better overall experience. Some of that is direct feedback from you! Thanks!
What about the physical copies on floppy?
There is no absolute need to use version 1.1! If you like the game as it is, stay with it. If you want to upgrade your version to 1.1 just download it, delete the MAIN.PRG file from the original floppy and replace it with the MAIN.PRG file from new .D64 image. If you have Ultimate or similar devices you can also mount the new image and copy the image as a whole to the floppy. You are done!
Update: All new physical shippings will include the V1.1 already!
Hey people! My name is Gregor, born 1980, living in Germany and since 2022 I’m developing games for our beloved Commodore 64.
Is RetroArts a company or an organization?
No. RetroArts is just an overall name for my C64 projects. I’m acting alone, as a private person without trademarks or company in background.
Why coding games for a machine that is older than 40 years?
Grewing up with this machine and still having fun with it is something I’m sharing with a whole commnuity out there. Still seeing a lasting demand on content for games I decided to make my own one.
Why coding in BASIC V2 and not Assembler?
To be honest – I never learned Assembler nor am I a professional developer. But I think with a little creativity and the right concepts it’s possible to create fun games in BASIC too. And finally, I like BASIC, because it’s simple and READY_ to go!
Is there more to come?
Yes, as long as my spare time allows I’m trying to make new games. But please be patient and there will be no fixed dates preannounced.
How can I support RetroArts Projects?
You can do a lot:
Follow me on Facebook/Instagram and share my postings (use links right)
Note: This is not a commercial product! It’s a non profit hobby project!
I have a handfull of them and will send these selected, physical editions out for plain material and processing costs of 15€ plus shipping. Please contact me directly to check transaction and shipping costs for your destination.

Before the release of “Evil Dungeon” I had some spare time to code a game that I played as a board game when I was a kid. Maybe you also remember this game aka “Mastermind” from Parker Brothers. Feel free to download as D64 image and have some fun with it.
My name is Gregor Schillinger, born in 1980 and since the age of nine I’m an owner of a C64.
In summer 2022 I had the idea for creating a game for my lovely “Breadbin”. The project made me a lot of fun through the last months. Therefore I decided to continue develop for the C64 and I already have some more follow-up ideas. For this reason I decided to put this all together and publish under the name “RetroArts”.
My first game “Evil Dungeon” will be released early 2023.
I hope people have fun with my games and I’m looking forward to get some feedback from you!
